PITTSBURGH (AP)—Pittsburgh Steelers kicker Jeff Reed is in trouble with the police over some towels, but not the Terrible kind waved by his fans.Pennsylvania state police say Reed threw a temper tantrum at a Sheetz convenience store in New Alexandria, a tiny borough about 35 miles east of Pittsburgh, because its restroom didn’t have any towels.Reed has been cited for disorderly conduct and criminal mischief, offenses similar to traffic tickets that carry a maximum fine of $300 and 90 days in jail each. Police said he broke the towel dispenser then used profane language to an employee and also outside the store.“Reed caused damage to a towel dispenser as he was infuriated at the fact that there were no towels in it,” according to a news release by Trooper Shawn Askins, who issued the citations. The incident occurred Saturday about 2:50 a.m.A message left on an answering machine at Reed’s home was not immediately returned.Steelers spokesman Dave Lockett said the team wouldn’t have any immediate comment.“We’re still gathering information right now,” Lockett said Saturday.

Great episode guys!

Thanks for all the props... Couple of comments I had. One is about the red light cameras. How do they know the person to whom the car is registered is driving? Sounds shady to me...

Also, I heard about Glary Utilities from Paul Thurrott on Windows Weekly... Great podcast I listen to every week on the TwiT network:

Have you guys ever used Jungle Disk as an online backup/file storage system? Its really awesome. Basically its $0.10 for every gigabyte uploaded, and $0.15 for every gigabyte download with no maintenance costs once your files are up there. You can then access your files from anywhere via an FTP site. Its a pretty inexpensive solution for online PC backups too since they have a client that will do it for you. Check it out here:

I use it to make online backups on my home system, and my monthly bill is literally only like $2.00.

And Ed... Just to make you happy... I am now following the manfb.com blog :-) And I've added a link to your blog/podcast on www.bennybenso.com for what its worth.

There was a bit of an echo on the podcast this week. Not sure if that was due to a new location. But it sounded like you were doing it in a empty room.

Thanks for the feedback guys! I think the echo was from the reverb and the way we had the mics setup.

I want to preface this comment with this note, "I have only lived in Indiana for a few months and am still getting acquainted with the Indiana traffic laws."

I lived in Baltimore for a few years, and they had these cameras at almost every intersection. They have them positioned so when the light is red and you run the light, it will snap a picture when you enter intersection and again when you leave the intersection. This way they get a picture of your face and front tag (Maryland is a two tag state) and your rear tag. If you ran a light a few days later you would get a $75 ticket and a copy of the picture of you running the light from the MVA. Just and FYI, a ticket from a red light camera does not add points to your license, because you are not signing anything at the time of the violation. Therefore, a red light camera ticket is just like getting a parking ticket, but much more expensive.

Also, I grew up in Pennsylvania, and if the light turned red once you have entered the intersection, it is not considered running the light.
